Twitch streamer deepfake porn

Twitch streamer Brandon Ewing, known online as “Atrioc,” accidentally showed his open browser tabs on January 26 during his stream. One of the tabs turned out to be a deepfake porn site. The site contained fake porn videos with the faces of female streamers such as Pokimane, QTCinderella, Maya Higa, and many more.

In a subsequent apology video on January 30, Ewing admitted to watching the fake videos of the female streamers. Both the information that Ewing watched deepfake videos of the streamers and his apology video went viral.
Many users on Twitter shared screenshots of the original stream, in which the name of the porn site could be seen. Although the intention of the Twitter users was mainly to raise awareness of the issue, their actions led to an unintended boost for the website. Thousands of “curious” users visited the site, and the operator of the website profited from the leak.
